Privacy Policy

ToolMoose (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates toolmoose.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use our tools and how it is used. We keep it short and plain because our tools are simple by design.

The short version

• Our tools run entirely in your browser. The values you type are not sent to us or stored on a server.
• We do not require an account and we do not ask for personal information to use the tools.
• We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand which tools are useful.
• We may display ads. Ad providers may use cookies; where required, you will be asked for consent first.
• If you contact us, we receive only what you choose to send.

Information we collect

Tool inputs. Values you enter into a tool are processed locally in your browser to produce a result. They are not transmitted to us and we never see them. This applies even to sensitive values such as health or cycle dates and financial figures: they stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Usage analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. It records aggregate page views and basic performance data so we can see which tools are worth improving.

Contact form. If you use our contact page, the name, email address, and message you submit are sent to us through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards the message to our inbox. We use that information only to read and reply to you. See the Web3Forms privacy policy for how they process submissions. To reduce spam, the form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a real browser rather than a bot.

Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, may process standard technical data such as IP address and user agent to serve pages, deliver content quickly, and protect the site from abuse. This is handled by Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider.

Advertising and cookies

We may use third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) to display ads. These partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. For visitors in regions that require it (such as the EU and UK), a consent prompt is shown before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline without losing access to any tool.

How long we keep data

Tool inputs are never stored, so there is nothing to retain. Analytics are aggregate and not tied to you. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.

Your choices and rights

• You can decline non-essential (advertising) cookies via the consent prompt where shown.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
• You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold so little, this usually applies only to a message you have sent us. To make a request, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

International transfers

Our providers (Cloudflare and Web3Forms) may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they rely on recognized safeguards for such transfers.

Children

Our tools are general-purpose and not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
